The Elk River chemical spill discussion at XIII International Forum on Industrial Safety

05.05.2015

The President of Corona Environmental Consulting Jeffrey Rosen will arrive in St.Petersburg to report about hazardous chemicals control challenges in the USA.

The most large-scale hazardous chemical spill occurred on January 9, 2014 and 300,000 residents of West Virginia were left without access to potable water. Schools were closed and hospitals had to refuse medical care to patients.

Mr. Rosen will present details of chemical spill and results of investigation provided by independent expert group «WV TAP» (West Virginia Testing Assessment Project).

XIII International Forum on Industrial Safety will be held on June 2-5, 2015 at Holiday Inn - Moskovskie Vorota conference hall, St.Petersburg.

Forum participant’s opinion

To tell the truth, this Forum was a unique experience for me. I had participated in some similar seminars in India and abroad before, but I have never seen such a perfectly organized and interesting event like your Forum. I don’t speak Russian, but everything was done to make my participation comfortable. I want to say thank you to the great interpreters who made this knowledge-sharing process so easy for me. I am expressing my deepest gratitude to Alexander Moskalenko, General Director of GCE Group, and his team who were working non-stop up to the Forum opening to make it a success. I would love to attend other events which GCE Group might organize in future. Best regards and thank you all for your hospitality!
