Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus participates in the largest industrial safety conference

XIV International Forum on Industrial Safety (May 24 - 27, 2016) will open its doors for top experts to share industrial safety management practices, labor protection experience and the lessons learnt after man-made accidents in different industrial sectors.

Alexander Kudryashov (Head of Operational Safety Supervision Department) and Yuriy Sadovnikov (Head of Licensing, Certification and Training Department) of the Ministry for Emergency Situations are participating in the Forum to report about the recent changes in the industrial safety legislation of the Republic of Belarus.

The Forum’s program will traditionally include scientific reports, round tables and consultations provided by top HSE experts. Plenary sessions will be dedicated to man-made accidents and natural disasters prevention and response and reliability aspects of industrial complexes.

XIV Forum venue is Moskovskiye Vorota Congress Hall (Holiday-Inn Saint-Petersburg – Moskovskiye Vorota, Moskovskiy prospect, 97А). Please note, Organizational committee accepts participation requests till May 20, 2016

«I think that the most important thing about the Forum is that it's an opportunity for experts from different countries to get together, listen to presentations, have discussions in the margins of the Forum, and share experience of best practices in the area of industrial safety. It's a great opportunity for everyone involved!

Nowadays, with increasing numbers of global operators, having some continuity and consistency in the way that legislation applies across the world is important. The Forum this week is a good way forward. It has been helpful by providing the platform for the exchange of ideas on how different countries regulate hazards.
