GCE Group is participating in All-Russia Labor Protection Week

18.04.2016

On April 18, 2015 All-Russia Labor Protection Week is starting in Sochi. The event is focused on the latest trends and perspectives of labor protection, safety and occupational health.

The event supported by the Government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Labor will be held on April 18-22 in Sochi and is targeted to discussion of the recent changes introduced into occupational safety legislation, methodologies of staff training, improvement of work culture, individual protection equipment and other issues.

GCE Group President Alexander Moskalenko comments that occupational safety issues should always be in focus, as health and lives of employees depend on the proper arrangement of the work process and the senior management who should promote occupational safety culture.

Statistics provided by the Federal Agency for Environmental, Technological, and Nuclear Supervision showed reduction of fatalities on sites in 2015 in comparison to 2014.

Main causes of work-related injuries are as follows:

  • Insufficient awareness of the staff about the requirements that affect occupational safety;
  • Ineffectiveness of staff trainings related to meeting the safety requirements.

We would like to remind that C.A.C.–GCE (a member of GCE Group) focuses on occupational safety consulting. Gazprom, Rosneft, LUKOIL, the Russian Railways, Gillette, Alcoa and many other industrial leaders are among the company’s clients.
