Forum participant’s opinion

«I think that the most important thing about the Forum is that it's an opportunity for experts from different countries to get together, listen to presentations, have discussions in the margins of the Forum, and share experience of best practices in the area of industrial safety. It's a great opportunity for everyone involved!

Nowadays, with increasing numbers of global operators, having some continuity and consistency in the way that legislation applies across the world is important. The Forum this week is a good way forward. It has been helpful by providing the platform for the exchange of ideas on how different countries regulate hazards.

Thank you to the GCE Group and team for hosting such an event to promote the dialogue between countries, governments and industries. I hope through my role in the UNECE Industrial Accidents Convention, we can continue to work together in the future to make progress in industrial safety.»
